Marina Bay Sands hosts CATS from 29 October to 22 November

Marina Bay Sands brings CATS The Musical to Singapore from 29 October to 22 November 2026, with the Sands Theatre hosting the production. The resort's official listing names Andrew Lloyd Webber's score, including Memory, as well as choreography, a junkyard setting and a cast of distinctive characters.

CATS The Musical runs at Sands Theatre from 29 October

The season begins on 29 October 2026 and ends on 22 November 2026. The venue listing identifies Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands as the location for every performance in the announced run. The dates fall within the current autumn travel window for Western European visitors planning a Singapore stay.

The production is built around music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and includes Memory among its named songs. The organiser describes the show through dance, a fantastical junkyard set and characters drawn from the musical's feline world. The official CATS performance listing gives the dates and venue together.

Marina Bay Sands connects the show with Singapore's waterfront

The complex is an integrated resort on Singapore's Marina Bay waterfront. Singapore's National Library describes a hotel, casino, retail mall, convention facilities, entertainment venues and a museum within the development.

The resort opened in April 2010 and has three 55-storey hotel towers topped by a 12,400-square-metre SkyPark. Its ArtScience Museum has a lotus-shaped design, placing the theatre season within a larger group of cultural and entertainment spaces. The National Library background records the site's history and main architectural elements.

The relationship between the production and the building is practical rather than symbolic: the show uses one of the resort's dedicated entertainment venues, while the surrounding complex combines theatres, exhibitions, retail and hospitality. That arrangement gives the dates a clear place within Singapore's waterfront cultural district.

Why the 2026 CATS season matters for the resort

The announced run extends across late October and most of November, rather than being limited to a single weekend. It therefore forms a substantial part of the entertainment programme at Marina Bay Sands during the autumn period.

The show also adds a theatrical focus to a building better known internationally for its three towers and rooftop SkyPark. For travellers, the programme provides a fixed cultural date at the resort, while the architecture supplies the wider setting around the theatre.
