The attic contains the Museo delle Spedizioni, with photographs, flags, ethnographic objects and equipment from Monzino’s mountaineering and polar journeys. Monzino died in 1988 and left the villa and much of Dosso di Lavedo to FAI, the Italian National Trust. The interiors, collections and gardens remain connected to his arrangement of the property.
