The Osmo Action 5 Pro includes 47GB of built-in storage and supports a microSD card with capacity up to 1TB. It also supports Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0, Bluetooth, 10-bit D-Log M, and Hybrid Log-Gamma recording.

Price And Package Options

DJI announced the Osmo Action 5 Pro on September 19, 2024, with a US starting price of $349 for the Standard Combo. The package includes the camera, a 1,950 mAh battery, a horizontal-vertical protective frame, a quick-release adapter mount, a curved adhesive base, a locking screw, a USB-C to USB-C PD cable, lens protection, and an anti-slip pad.

The Adventure Combo launched at $449 and adds a multifunctional battery case, a mini quick-release adapter mount, and a 1.5 m extension rod. A US Best Buy listing showed a Standard Combo price of $319 as of 09/22/2026.

How It Compares

Compared with the Osmo Action 4, the Osmo Action 5 Pro raises caseless waterproofing from 18 m to 20 m and increases the stated battery capacity from 1,770 mAh to 1,950 mAh. Independent testing recorded 112 minutes at 4K/60p for the Action 5 Pro, compared with 80 minutes for the Action 4 under the review's test conditions.

Compared with the GoPro Hero13 Black, the DJI model offers the same maximum 4K/120fps video class while adding 47GB of internal storage. Its $349 launch price was $50 below the Hero13 Black's launch price reported by Tom's Guide.
